It’s Almost Christmas

Wow!  Can you believe that Christmas will be here in less than two weeks?  Where does the time go?

Can you imagine what it’s like at The North Pole?  I’m sure the excitement is building, even there.  The elves are working frantically to get everything ready for Santa Clause’s big midnight ride.  Mrs. Clause is busily baking all the goodies to feed those hungry little elves and critters that are helping out around The North Pole village.

Santa is sorting out his list and separating the good boys and girls from the bad ones and he’s checking it twice.  He’s planning his route and setting the coordinates on his GPS.  They’re polishing the sleigh and getting it ready to be filled with all the toys that Santa will deliver.

The reindeer are practicing their take off and landing on roof-top procedures and perfecting their flying skills.  Making sure that there is enough reindeer dust, the reindeer elves are grooming them and making sure they are fit and ready to go.

What a magical time of the year.  The children are all trying to be as good as they can, so that Santa won’t forget them or leave a bag of coal.

The North Pole is decorated with brightly shining lights, stars, and all sorts of happy decorations.  The aroma of hot chocolate is permeating the air and cookies and sweets are the meals of the day.

This is what I imagine The North Pole like at this time of year.  What is your view?

Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy and Healthy New Year.
